At the present time, the GCBA sponsors several different basketball programs, available to both male and female athletes, including: recreational house leagues (focusing on basic skills development), a competitive development program (stressing advanced team play), a junior referees development program, a recreational (games only) Spring League, and Tykes (age 5-7) program focusing on the introduction to basketballs skills.

Naismith Minor Basketball Association
A grassroots developmental basketball program for youth aged 9-18. The NMBA runs from September to April for house league and into May for some of the competitive teams. Participants are from the general Almonte and Carleton Place region and enjoy the opportunity to advance their basketball skills, friendships and experience in either of the house league or competitive programs.
